Patrick Wood, working under the pseudonym lilPaats, is a metaverse architect and artist. A third-year student at the University of Virginia School of Architecture, he has a lifelong passion for architecture and the visual arts, with a focus on the way a crafted space makes one feel. While carrying a primary interest in physical architecture, Wood has found the metaverse to be a blank canvas in exploring what it means to build and explore structures. Since joining the web03 space in February of 2020, Wood has worked for DAO's such as FlamingoDAO and mDAO, along with a number of private NFT collectors. In the first half of 2022, he pitched Voxels on the idea to create the first fully pre-built and designed development in the metaverse, and partnered with them to deliver it. The team he assembled for the build included multiple Voxels-native builders, University of Virginia design students, and the first real-life architecture firm to build in Voxels, Forrm Architects. As of August 8, the project has grossed over 50eth ($86k) in primary sales. Currently, he's helping kickstart neonBUIDL, a community of metaverse builders formed by neonDAO
